It is with great sadness that I learn of Martin's passing. The whole of the UWE team in Asia Pacific well remember his efforts to embrace us in the development of research projects and promote PhD programmes. Martin was a true educator and his legacy will be the hundreds of students who benefitted from his guidance and the research projects that have made a positive impression on this world.
