I was fortunate to work with Martin when I was Academic Governance Manager during his last year at UWE. Even though he was coming to the end of his career there, his passion for research and innovation continued to shine through. He was a generous and supportive colleague who always took the time to chat and seek the views and expertise of others. I was very sorry to hear of his passing and my thoughts are with his family and friends.
